I love Easter! It’s a time of rebirth and renewal. I love to step outdoors on early Easter mornings and breath in the fresh Spring air. There’s a certain joy in knowing that God loves us so deeply that He sent His Son Jesus to earth for our salvation! It’s a time to celebrate and contemplate what God has done for each of us.
This year, my Easter Poem is to thank Jesus for coming to earth and dying for our sins. He truly came to earth and experienced humanity first hand. He knows our every fear, happiness, joy, grief, pain, loss, temptation; and, yet, He was also willing to come to earth to die on the cross for each of us, one of the most excruciating deaths!
May we take a moment today to not only thank God for giving us His one and only Son to die for our sins, but also for Jesus’s willingness to do so…..
No greater love can be found!
